Introduction to the Serger/Overlocker

This is the ideal workshop for current serger owners who have tucked them away in a closet, terrified to thread them or to bring them out and use them. It is also a good opportunity for those thinking of purchasing a new serger but are unsure of how they operate, what they do and if they would be a good addition to their sewing tool box.
This Overlock workshop will:
* Show you what's inside the machine,
* Describe all the buttons and dials and what their function is;
* Show you how to thread the machine.
* Teach you how to recognize a balance tension and how to achieve it.
Lastly, you will put all you have learned to the test by making a simple bag.
NOTE: We will have a limited number of Bernina/Bernette Sergers available for rent by potential new owners or those contemplating an upgrade to their existing machines
