Introduction to Quilting

Learn all the basics of making your very first quilt top (flimsy) from start to finish!
In this 4 week workshop (no class April 27 - Catch up week) you will learn:
– about the basic tools
- about fabric selection 
– how to use a rotary cutter to cut your fabrics
– layout, accurate piecing
-  1/4 inch seams and,

- pressing blocks for a simple quilt top

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Basic knowledge of your sewing machine is required. i.e. You need to be able to thread your machine and wind a bobbin .
Materials Included: Pattern
Requirements: Students are required to supply their own sewing machine. These are not required for the first class.
Detailed supply lists will be provided during the first class.
