Introduction to Quilting
Learn all the basics of making your very first quilt top (flimsy) from start to finish!
In this 4 week workshop (no class on the 4th week) you will learn:
– about the basic tools
- about fabric selection
– how to use a rotary cutter to cut your fabrics
– layout, accurate piecing and,
- pressing blocks for a simple quilt top

| Skill Details: | Basic knowledge of your sewing machine is required. i.e. You need to be able to thread your machine and wind a bobbin . |

| Requirements: | Students are expected to supply their own sewing machine in good working order. These are not required for the first class. We do have a limited number of machines available for rental. Detailed supply lists will be provided during the first class |
